Strategic partnership combines deep tech and sector expertise for smarter decision-making

Brussels, April 30, 2025 – Antea Group and Solv have announced a strategic partnership that will make infrastructure projects smarter, faster, and more efficient. By combining Antea Group’s sector expertise with Solv’s innovative AI platform, the two companies are setting a new standard in stakeholder management and risk analysis.

Solv contributes its cutting-edge technology for advanced stakeholder analysis, risk prediction, and scenario development, while Antea Group leverages its years of experience in infrastructure and permitting processes to apply this technology effectively in real-world projects.

Smart data for faster decisions

The collaboration focuses on using georeferenced data and machine learning to make risks, sensitivities, and stakeholder expectations visible in a timely and comprehensive way. This allows planning processes to become more efficient and generates greater public support for projects from the outset.

“We aim to go beyond traditional processes with digital tools that provide immediate, actionable insights,” says Jan Parys, CEO of Antea Group. “This makes permitting processes more efficient and increases project support.”

“By combining our technology with Antea Group’s expertise, we’re taking infrastructure development to a new level of speed and quality,” adds Alexander D’Hooghe, CEO of Solv.

Innovation and control under one roof

Targeted machine learning models and data platforms will be co-developed for internal use at Antea Group, while maintaining each partner’s core expertise. This ensures both companies remain independent and innovation-focused—crucial for building infrastructure that’s ready for the future.

“In Flanders, dozens of infrastructure projects are stalled or blocked: wind farms, high-voltage lines, mobility investments, waterway upgrades, and logistical arteries such as ports and rail. Not because of a lack of funds or plans, but because the process breaks down. There’s too much information, too many interest groups, and too little clarity. With Solv, we bring order to the chaos. We use AI to quickly identify where the bottlenecks are, who cares about what, and what actually works,” says Alexander D’Hooghe, CEO of Solv.

Working more efficiently with scarce expertise

In this partnership, artificial intelligence is not a replacement for human expertise, but a way to enhance it. With technical profiles in short supply, AI makes it possible to deploy knowledge in a targeted way and streamline processes. The approach is deliberately pragmatic and people-centered.

Moreover, the technology enables faster risk assessment and the ability to offer tailored solutions. This results in infrastructure projects that are better aligned with the needs and expectations of public and private stakeholders, maximizing impact. By leveraging big data and making more efficient use of scarce expertise, projects can also be launched and completed more quickly, with better use of available budgets.

“With this partnership, we are fully embracing AI for environmental and stakeholder management,” Parys concludes. “It allows us to respond more quickly to opportunities and risks and to handle the growing flow of data, even in the face of a shortage of knowledge workers.”
